I was looking to create customized sales order report and I am seeking advice on best way to achieve the end goal
I have been down many rabbit holes in the last 6 hours, these 2 seem the most likely way to get this done
- Power BI - Connects fine to Dataverse but I can't see Tables for Sales Order Lines - So hit a brick wall there
- Dynamics 365 BS - Modify report layout. "Sales Order Detail" seems pretty close, but need to add 3 fields (Shipping Postcode, Customer Order Number, Production Order/Assy Order number) but not easy to work this out
I also use MS SQL and MS Visual Studio with other ERP tables, but didn't have too much luck there as i'm new to Dynamics
So question is: what is simplest way to create report of open sales order lines with following fields?
Customer Name
Shipping Postcode
Customer Order Number
Sales Order Number
Production/Assy Order Number
Item Number
Item Description
Delivery Date
Order Qty
Unshipped Qty
Any nudges in the right direct would be greatly appreciated!
