Upgrade TableExtension or PageExtension

Good morning,

I'm doing the upgrades of my own applications to be automatically like Microsoft upgrade a version and executes the changes.

I've tried upgrade tables, pages, etc and it works perfectly as the standard.

FYI¨: When im in the upgrade codeunit when you want to record the tableextension only shows the tables thats why I think it's not possible.

So, I have the problem or I don't know how to upgrade a pageextension and tableextension, is it possible?

I attach an example where it works in the standard pages(created pages or tables)

Thanks a lot,

Albert.

I am not sure i understand exactly what you mean. But you do not do an separate update for your table ext.

During an upgrade you refer to the table you have extended if you want to upgrade fields in your table ext.

If you want to change the behavior of your table or page ext. you just create changes in those AL files as part of your release.

Hi, According to my understanding, are you unable to access the fields of TableExtension in Upgrade Codeunit?

If your Upgrade Codeunit and TableExtension are in the same Extension (Project), they should be accessible.
If you create a new Extension for Upgrade alone, you need to set the Dependence property to access it.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks
