Hi, 

I have a problem with the approvals of Sales Invoice.
When I submit an approval request and someone attempts to approve, the following error occurs and is not approved.

Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Runtime.NavVariant variable not initialized

If approved the Sales Invoice Status still pending approval instead of Released. 

What could be the problem to getting the error ? and how to fix this error ?

    If you run debugger behind the scene you will probably see where the issue lies. Most probably this is an old error due to outdated platform AND application (in the workflow area). 

    Could you please write down your build no. and application version?

    Hi Duilio Tacconi, 

    May I know how to run the debugger ? is it vrun via Visual Studio Code ?

    Version: W1 16.3 (Platform 16.0.14073.15127 + Application 16.3.14085.14287)

    I found the error due to the sender and approver are the same user.

    Yes. you have to run it through VS Code in a sandbox.
