Hi everyone,

Can someone explain the purpose of the Charge account in Purchase Order posting?

Posting Charge Account

Hi,

There are two ways how you can define on which ledger account the charges must be posted.

You can define postings of charges on different main accounts based on Items\Item groups, Procurement category, (customer) account code and or sales tax group.

So you have a lot of possibilities here, if you wish to distinguish it on a very granular level.

An alternative is to select "Post to charge account in ledger", which means all charges are being posted to ONE ledger account.

Posting Charge Account

Hi @Anthony Maroun The Charge account is now obsolete and is no longer in use, similar to the Fixed receipt price in the Item model. Read this article for a detailed explanation.
