Can not upload app file from Extension Management page in v27.0 (preview)

I am trying to upload an app file from Extension Management / Mange / Upload And Deploy Extension in my sandbox envs. It is working fine in a sandbox(v26.4), but it is failing in the other(v27.0 preview). The error details from status page is:

"Deployment failed. Errors: App ID : c9c2b1e9-f968-4ec3-a560-ae3cfa0f34d3 Message : { Cannot publish application because there is a mismatch between the intended scope of the app 'Tenant' and the value of the 'PublishedAs' argument 'Global'. } - Job Id : 689b0109-1f0c-42dd-bd2b-d25f38bd19fc."

What's the cause of this issue and how can I fix it please? Thank you!

It is a known bug; try creating a new sandbox, as the issue was fixed yesterday.

We are still experiencing the same issue after recreating our Sandbox. Any other suggested resolutions? Thank you

RockwithNav, I can publish with VSCode (with AL extension pre-release version) successfully. The issue only exists in uploading app file from UI.

Suresh Kulla, I just recreated the sandbox, but still got the same error:

Based on the Yammer post, the issue is fixed in the next build, which they may release in the next few days. Therefore, we might have to wait a few more days to resolve this issue.

Publishing via VS Code is the only way right now... this will likely be fixed soon.
