Hi, just want to see if there is an alternate way for the quantity to be restricted to not allow negative sales... what i mean is right now i have restricted the quantity field in POS so that it can not be changed, i would like the field to be changeable but not into the negative.

Would restricting the cashier not be able to do returns work? Set the cashier's return limit to .01
How about requiring a reason code for the return. SO Manager | File | Configuration | Options | Reason Codes | Require reason code for returns
