How can I change a Bank Account No.?

The no. field is not displayed on the Bank Account Card.

Edit in Excel tries to delete and recreate - you cant delete when there is ledger entries in the current year.

I re-created a Bank Account and as I cant delete the old one until the current year is closed, I want tot rename it so that it appears at the bottom of lists...

Anyone any ideas?

    Hello,

    You can personalize your Bank Account Card to add the field within the General Fast Tab.

    If you want to rename the Bank Account Number, in the No. field you can type a new value (lets say Z-xxxx so it appears at the bottom of the Bank List) and click Enter. You are prompted that you are about the rename the record are you sure. Click yes and the rename will complete against the Bank Account and all posted transactions made by that Bank Account (in the Ledgers).

    Thanks Steve - I tried that, but there are only two fields shown as being available to add - Search Name and Min. Balance.

    Hello,

    So your screen looks like this:

    But the No. field, in my pic, is not appearing on your screen, yes?

    If this is the case, I would ask your Partner to look at the Page 370 Bank Account Card to see why this field is not appearing or available.

    The No. will show only if the Bank Account No. Series you have set to Manual. If you set the No. Series to be Manual then it will show the No. field.
