Querying Extended Fields in an .AL API Extension

I have a customer that has Extended the Sales Invoice Header table (112). I have an .AL API Extension that queries the data so that I can use it in an external application. I can not find the extended columns in the code windows.(tells me the column does not exist). I can see the data on their pages, and in the raw table=112 format, but I cannot find the columns to query them.

Any insights would be awesome.

Thanks

You need to add reference/dependencies to the extension that has new field of the sales invoice header.

Thanks, this so far looks like it will work for me. I am waiting on the customer to get me the .app file so I can reference it, but it all looks like this is what I need.

    Much appreciated

ok, so I finally got the .app file from the customer (we didn't write the extension). I added the dependency, and stuck the .app file in the .alpackages folder. app.json is throwing an exception that it could not be loaded (Object reference not set to an instance of an object), so I can't build my project, and I still can't access the extended columns. I really am a good programmer, but this is really stumping me. Not sure what I am missing.

    Any help is appreciated.
