Hi all,

Is there a way to restrict generating a purchase invoice for orders that fail quality checks? I want the system to allow purchase invoice generation only for quantities that pass the quality order. Currently, the system only displays a warning message and posts the invoice.

That should be possible with the event blocking 'Invoice' on the quality association:

Could you check how it has been configured?

Hi,
This event blocking option only has an impact when the status of quality orders is not closed. However, once a quality order is validated, it is considered closed. After closing a quality order, how can we restrict the purchase invoice to be created only for passed quantity not for a failed quantity.

Hi AFazal,

Its true that event blocking option only works for the quality order having OPEN status. Once quality order passed or failed it wont work.

There is one workaround in the TEST GROUP as shown below. You can select BLOCKED inventory status on Quality order fail. So when its failed system will automatically assign FAILED inventory status to that stock. It may prevent invoicing. -
