Error "This document can only be released when the approval process is complete".

Hi Community,

I have this error in my Purchase Order /This document can only be released when the approval process is complete/.

Now as you can see in the screenshot, the total is $24.08. The Approving amount is $100. Which means any PO with less than $100 will be able to be release without any approving. However, why does navision prompts me this error then?

Is the field "Approver ID"with a value, in the configured user?

Hi, you seem to have misunderstood the purpose of this field. This is the approval limit for this user. It does not mean that if it is below this limit, no approval is required.

In my case the approval limit is $100, but not sure why the amount is $24, and yet still not able to process..

Hi, I'm not sure. If the flow is not initiated, it may be a problem with the Workflow settings. You can check the settings in the Workflow, such as the Event Conditions and the Approver Type in Workflow Responses.

Hope this can give you some hints.

check the requests to approve page, if there is a entry there linked to your PO, then ask the approver to approve it.

Check the conditions of your workflow if addition triggers are set up.
