Hi Team,
I am trying to make API call for MSD 365 BC On premise version, but getting issue, I have installed On premise setup and configured it properly its running fine when credential type is Windows but unable to connect with postman.

When trying with Credential Type as "NavUserPassoword" my instance is failing to into Running status and unable to start it. Also unable to make API calls

Auth type used in postman is - Basic Auth -> Combination of User Name and AWS key

Created Demo certificates and done almost all the setting by following the MS docs, still not able to connect.

Please help me on this.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Please check  Enable API Services checkbox. under the OData Services tab in the Administration tool. If not, please enable it.

    Thank you,

Hi, as MS mentioned in Docs, your solution must be configured to use NavUserPassword or AccessControlService authentication. So the Windows credential type can not be used for the APIs for Dynamics 365 Business Central On-Premises.

I think it is still a setting problem, please confirm that the setting in the file below has also been updated.

I've tested Office 365 certification before and worked well.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi ZHU,

    Thanks for the reply.

I tried following the steps, still unable to start the instance, and got an error when CredentialType is set as either NavUserPassword or AccessControlService. It seems like while setup the installation something didn't go right.

Can you please let me know which version you have tried and got success, it will be really helpful if you can share the URL of that version.

    Thank you!
