Double click creating two quotes, is there any way to prevent double click on OOB buttons?

We have a issue where customers are creating duplicate quotes with different numbers. Problem is caused when users double click on Add New (+) button. It is highlighted below in pic.

I think it is OOB functionality, is there any solution to fix this issue?

Initially I thought of creating a custom button which will check a flag before calling OOB JavaScript function. But I think double click happens to fast and flag will not be set/checked with-in that time.

    Hi,

The solution to fix is to teach your user to only click one time on it. I mean every actions in CRM only need one click.

If it is not sufficient, you can try to build an onload Jscript function which checks if another window is already open, but I think that is extremly unsupported.

Another solution if you are using IE: You do still have the option of opening popups in a new window vs a new tab in IE (if you are using IE).  Internet options>General>Tabs>Tabbed Browser Settings setting.

Hi @Guillaume, I agree with you but unfortunately does not matter how much you train users, there will be exceptions always when you have users around 900 to 1000!
