How can I change filter properties of the fields in a view.

I want to achieve something like this

This field is an optionset

The below field is a lookup

    Hi Snitika,

If you are trying to put the filter over an optionset it will directly show you the options available in the optionset.

If I am correct you are trying to filter it by region and I can see that the region is a lookup not an optionset.

Please verify the field type once.

    Hope this helped.

    Thanks

    Field         Datatype

    Region     LOOKUPS

    Status      OPTIONSET

logically lookup data is not visible same as optionsest

Is, there any way to view the lookup data as optionset?

    Hi,

Yes select the "Filter by specific Region..." and then add all your possibilties and tada. Here you are with the same look as an opitonset

    Hi Snitika,

I am assuming you are not having any reports.

I would suggest you to export the particular view data to excel using export data to excel and in excel you can put the filter.

As far as CRM is concerned I am not sure if you can achieve this, as the lookup data can be huge it's not feasible to show it as it is in the case of optionset.

    Hope this helped.

    Thanks

Thanks. I managed to do it for fields where I can see this option "Filter by specific ...."

There are few fields where I cannot see this option.

Is there any way to do the same for those fields.

no this is not what I want. I am talking about the filters on the view. Don't want to export anything.
