Hi All,

Did anybody struggle with the following error?

I created new engineering change order and just added a new item (Impact: New product)

Validation went ok

Approvement went ok

When I tried to Process it I have the following error:

Cannot edit a record in Inventory module parameters (InventTableModule). An update conflict occurred due to another user process deleting the record or changing one or more fields in the record.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Ela,

Do you have customizations in this environment? If not, I would suggest to search for possible known issues on LCS issue search. If you can't find a hit then create an incident for Microsoft Support.

For sure there are no customisations at all :-(

    Hi Ela,

Like mentioned above, in this case, check LCS issue search or create a support request for Microsoft.

    Hello,

The given table is holding (mainly) the information about item price as seen under the item setup on Purchase fast-tab, Sell fast-tab and Manage costs fast-tab.

When the item is created (by processing the ECO), data for the given item should be inserted in this table.

For some reason, logic tries to update one of the item records that has just been created.

Maybe, using a different item as template on Product release policies setup may help.

If not, I would suggest to log a support case to have the situation being investigated.

    Best regards,

    Gabriel

    Gabriel,

    Good point!

I tried with using engineering category without release policy - it works.

It also works with another release policy with another template item.

I think there should be a bug somewhere there. The most important is that I have a solution.

For newly created engineering products I shouldn't use release policy with a template. Just in case...

    Thanks.
