Records are created by User A or B can be accessed by User C and D how we can do that in CRM where Security role is the BU level security .

Security role is the BU level security –

ParentBU-ChildBU –User A and user B

ParentBU-ChildBU –User C and user D

Whatever records are created by User A or B can be accessed by User C and D how we can do that.

Hi,

How about putting C's BU under B's BU. so that all 4 under same root to share the PBU level access.

if that doesn't work means you have to go for teams that share the access with its security roles

Hi Bhabani,

Using business unit level access its not possible , you need to provide parent -child BU level access.

If you dont want to give parent -child BU acces , you may go for access team or sharing .

Hi,

besides the above suggestion, you also can create a custom team with business unit under ChildBU(User A and B) and add User C and D to this team, assign a security role with business unit level.

If you only want records that own by User A and B to be accessed by User C and D only, use access team.

Sorry Forgot to mention ChildBU are different.Parent -child BU level access will solve the problem? Whatever records are created by User A or B can be accessed by User C and D as there is a different BU for the users ?

I have found below answers correct me if I am wrong

1. We can give USER A and B as Organisation level access.

2. We can create a team and add all these users so they can access the required records.

ParentBU-ChildBU-1 –User A and user B

ParentBU-ChildBU-2 –User C and user D
