Hi,

We want to introduce following sales action in BC.

Buy product x and get product y free of charge.

How can I set this up in business central?

In the standard price calculation that is not possible.

But you could create a bill of material where you combine the products in a package,

If the BOM is not what you want/need then you will have to have it customized.

Hi

Also, you can try Sales Marketing Campaign and assign 100% discount to the y product. System will not check for product x but if your team remember to add them both it will work. or you can create assemble item, add both item to it, add assemble item to SO and explode the bom.

Or you can try 3rd party apps if you always need this function

Here is an APP that will do everything you want. I have used it once for another customer with the same requirements:

Hi, I also recommend using the standard Campaign feature with a little judgment, which can reduce a lot of customization.
