How to change the control by lot number in product definition

I tried to change the item tracking from lot to none.

So I done the following:

Verified that the quantity in all warehouses is 0.
Checked that there are no open purchase orders or sales orders (and verified that the purchase and sales invoices were also registered).

Then, I tried to modify the value of the Item Tracking Code field,  but I was not allow to do so because it presented an error message that reports that there are pending transactions

Did it ever happen to you? Could anybody make these change?

    If you are trying to do that on the item card you will not be able to do that as long as there are any transactions on the item at all.

    You can not change the costing method ones there is anything posted on the item.
