Hi All,

I want to share 80 dashboards with 80 group of users, each of them has one specific dashboard.

The dashboards are system dashboards.

Is there a way to do it without creating specific roles for each group?

Unfortunately, system dashboards in Dynamics 365 cannot be shared with specific users or teams without using security roles. To restrict visibility per group, you must create separate security roles and assign each dashboard to its corresponding role. System dashboards are part of the application metadata, not user-owned records.

Microsoft designed them to be controlled by security roles for consistency, performance, and governance. This ensures dashboards align with role-based access control , which is the core security model in Dynamics 365
