Transaction error - edit required - can't delete

I've tried all week to get this transaction to go away (it's empty). When I run a series post, I get an error message that it requires an edit. When I go to the batch recovery window and click on continue, it clears it from the screen, but when I go back to series post, it's there again still with the edit required message.

When I inquiry the JE #, I get an error message "The JE # you've entered doesn't exist, hasn't been posted or is history. Enter or select a valid journal entry number."

I'm stumped as to how to delete this "batch".

Details:

Transaction type = standard

Transaction Date = 6/23/16

Source Document = SJ

Transaction Reference = Sales Transaction Entry.

Any help appreciated!

You can remove the batch if there are no records in the GL Detail Table by using SQL Studio Manager.

Replace TWO with your Database Name, and XXX with the Batch Number.

USE TWO DELETE GL10000 WHERE BACHNUM = 'XXXXXXXX'

USE TWO DELETE GL10001 WHERE BACHNUM = 'XXXXXXXX'

USE TWO DELETE SY00500 WHERE BACHNUM = 'XXXXXXXX'

You may need to manually create a GL transaction for the Sales Invoice to match the Invoice Posting accounts to ensure the Ledgers reconcile.
