Any way of getting record url via SQL Query?

Hello,

I am building up a query on various FilteredViews. In my output I would like to include a link to each record.

Is there any way of doing this? Ideally it would be like the recordUrl available in workflows.

Thanks.

Also, see the following for the latest details about constructing URLs for CRM records, views, etc.

Thanks,  but how do I get the actual id of the record to link to it?

All entities in CRM have a primary key of type uniqueidentifier (in SQL). That field name is a concatenation of the entity logical name and "id". So, that's the GUID you need to identify a record.

Does that help or am I still not understanding your question correctly?

Thanks Tim - I realised that just after I posted - sorry for being stupid and thanks for your help!
