we are using Microsoft dynamics gp .my gp license expired if i cannot purchase a license whats the problem and issue i face ?

You're GP license will actually never expire if you stay on the same version.. The way it works is that you're supposed to have an annual maintenance contract with Microsoft thru your registered partner. Every year at anniversary date of your initial GP purchase, you should receive an invoice from your partner for the maintenance renewal. This entitles you to future upgrades and service pack downloads from the Customer Source portal (Microsoft) .
If for some reasons you've elapsed the annual maintenance renewal, then you're no longer entitled to upgrades and service packs by Microsoft, but your current GP version will continue to work without any issues. I've seen GP clients still running on old GP 2010, though they have long stopped paying their annual maintenance fees.
The issue with most partners is that they won't offer you any support when you're no longer a paying customer with Microsoft. Then you're only options are to resort to Independent GP consultants to help you with technical problems, but that wont allow you for any upgrades.
