Display Issue with Dynamics GP 2018

Hi. I am having an issue with a workstation install of Dynamics 2018. I have about 15 other workstation installs that were fine when we upgraded to 2018 in December. This machine had to wiped clean and Windows 10 installed fresh. Unfortunately the fonts a super tiny for the user on this high res monitor. I have read the blogs about doing the registry hack etc but still when they login this is how it shows:

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have totally removed GP and reinstalled a few times.

Did you follow this blog by Steve Endow.  community.dynamics.com/.../fix-dynamics-gp-scaling-and-font-size-issues-on-high-dpi-displays

It has worked for me on GP and Windows 10.  Be sure you put the dynamics.exe.config file in the program directory.

    Hi Perry,

Yes I did follow that article. Using the reg file it did not create the extry so I had to manually add it for some reason. I added the manifest file and rebooted the workstation. Logged in as the user and still the same issue. If you see my screen shot it appears different to other posts i have read about this. The font is very small even at teh login screen and continues through all of GP. I even tried copying a working Dynamics install folder to the affected workstation and there is still no change.

    Thanks

    Jason,

I thought you might have, but wanted to be sure.  I have not run into a situation where the manifest did not fix the issue.  I will see if I can replicate it and do some testing.

If you right click dynamics.exe, under compatibility check the override scaling option in Windows 10.

For Windows Server 2016 check : Disable display scaling on high DPI Settings
