Business central as a service

Hi,

I wanted to know if could be possible that if I have a business central server on premise to be able to provide access to Business central web and Powershell (just for managing Business central) to an external developer who could have full access to the Business central server. Could this be possible?.

In case it wasn't possible, could I use the Business central api for uploading extensions?. In case I could, do I have an API command for doing things like sync-navapp or start-navappdataupgrade?. Do I have that granularity level of permissions?. I assume de Business central API can do lots of things but, can I give a developer a restricted user (for the api) with restricted commands than can issue in BC instance?.

Does some sort of doc exist for this?.

Best regards,
