Cannot get Shopify Order Sales Tax to Sync to BC SO Header

We cannot get the shopify order sales tax amount to sync into the newly created BC sales order.  We tried all the settings and the customer template is setup with a single tax area code we created called "shopify" and the tax liable flag is set to true.  Yet we cannot get sales tax to come over into BC correctly.  Is there a specific combination of flags/settings to complete here?

    Hello,
     
    Shopify never transfers the tax amount into a BC sales order.
    BC always recalculates tax using its own Tax Area + Tax Groups.
    If your custom Tax Area (“SHOPIFY”) doesn’t contain real tax jurisdictions, BC will always calculate 0.
     
    There is no flag combination to “import Shopify tax”.
    You must either:
     
    Fix BC tax setup (Tax Area with proper jurisdictions + correct Customer Template + Tax Area Priority), or
     
    Build a tiny customization to copy Shopify’s tax amount into the BC document.
