Exchange rate service

Hi All

I am trying to setup an automated feed of exchange rates from ECB. It should be easy, there is even a video from Microsoft how to set it up, but I am totally stuck even before I start the field mapping - I have nothing to map the xml file to.

I have no attributes predefined in the system (called Captions in the table).

My currency exchange rate service page for the ECB source looks like this:

////

It is not as simple as clicking on the link and select from a popup. A popup opens, but the system doesn't save whatever I select there. The popup doesn't even all fields needed (e.g. Parent Node for currency code), so this needs to be defined elsewhere.

Can you please tell me how to get this populated:

I have GL settings - local CCY selected (CHF in our case), I have got several other currencies in the currency table, the link to ECB rates is correct.
I have got the same issue in Cronos company, and also in a new free trial - everything opens without the defined Captions.

Thanks in advance for any hint!

I have the same issue - the field caption doesn't not appear properly:

This seems like a bug from Microsoft... I see that this was ok in version BC21, and starting from BC23 the field captions are not showing correctly.
But I think it still goes the same way:
    Parent node
       Currency code
       Starting Date
       Exchange rate amount
       Relational Exchange rate amount

is it possible to use a 3rd party app to do the exchange service? it will be lot easier then manual setup.

Starting with V23 you can simply ignore the Caption column/fields. Simply do everything in the Source column as before. That's all, the setup is still going to work. I would recommend setting up a service as its very simple rather than clutter your system with 3rd party apps.

    Hi

Trying to follow this but its not clear for me as it wont let me leave the source in the 5th line blank in order to put 1 in the relational currency box. As shown below. Are Microsoft fixing this issue?
As such i dont get the 1 on the relational currency as below
