    Hello there,

its not an out of the box field as far as i know - your administrator has locked it for a reason.

kindly ask admin for the reason or if you want you can unlock it  - by going to customizations >customize the system >  entities > marketing list > main form > double click on this field and and check "visible by default" and if its already checked it means there is a business or javascript is locking that field based on a logic.

    Hi Robert73,

This field is locked in background either using JS or using form customization. Please login with system administrator and unlock it.

    Hi All

Thank you for your input, however, it turned out the Subscription Marketing lists are only available for Static Lists. Once you set the list type to static it unlocks the subscription type.

Now, of course, that defeats the purpose of using marketing lists as a dynamic approach to fx sending out a welcome email, based on an account property updated. :(

Looks like Dynamic Segment is the tool for this. But the filter building is not very intuitive. Why does MS insist on making UX/UI so complicated?

    Robert,

Could you confirm the about field, Is it custom field? I could not able to find the field even in the latest trail version?

No it is not custom. It is even in their online documentation.
