Converting web app to UI.

Posted on by 10

Do I need to convert the 2 web apps listed below to UI?  Dynamics 365 - Production gives me the option to HIDE FOR ALL ROLES.  Sales show OPEN IN APP DESIGNER and MANAGE ROLES.

So far, it looks very difficult for me. But nevertheless, it is interesting, so I want to master UI it as soon as possible. Well, of course, you need to improve my knowledge and technical skills.

    Hi,

You can turn off "Show legacy app for everyone, not just admins" under Settings | Product | Behavior in the Power Platform Admin Center:

I was able to convert the Sales app to Unified Interface and I no longer see the message "You are using apps designed for the legacy web client...". I do however still have the default 'Dynamics - Production' web client visible on the dashboard.  I would like to remove this if possible.  Thank you!

    A. If possible, I would like to use them.  What is the best way to convert them?  B. If I don't need them, how can they be removed?  Or will I always see the message at the top, "You are using apps designed for the legacy web client..."

    Hi,

Those are the default apps. If you are not using them then you don't *have to* convert.

    Hope this helps.
