    Hi Mates,

Thanks for the insight on this. Infact I have just finished with VPN setup to connect from four different geophraphical locations to UK where the server is. Test conducted shows it takes approx. 30min to an hr to load.

I will like to know how to get GP published through Citrix.

    Regards

    Gilbert

Accessing Microsoft Dynamics GP directly via a wide area network (WAN) using VPN or other methods is not supported.  While this can work, performance will not be acceptable and the risk of data corruption is high.

The only supported methods of remote access are to use a Terminal Server or a Citrix Server.

    Thanks Christina,

Please advise.  It is feasible to access Great Plains v10 data through terminal service on the workstation by going through VPN link?

Can you please give the lists of requirements needed for this process?   Appreciate and thank you.

    Hi--

One of the first things I think of is maintenance.  We have many clients moving towards terminal services simply because you maintain a few servers (depending on the number of users) rather than multiple machines.  With VPN, you would be installing on the local workstations (Presumably, unless you were doing some combination of VPN and RDP).

     just one thought...

    Take care,

    Christina
