No Option for Current User or 365 when setting up email

When I attempt to setup email on Business Central production environment I no longer have an option to setup Current User or Microsoft 365 Connector.

I need to setup a shared mailbox to be able to access the Sales order agent, and I would also like to setup my user to mail in BC (and other users in future)

Hello,

If you only see SMTP during email setup, it usually means the Microsoft 365 Connector and Current User Connector extensions aren’t enabled or available in the environment. These connectors are standard Business Central extensions that allow sending email either from a shared mailbox (Microsoft 365 Connector) or from each user’s own mailbox (Current User Connector), and they require that users have valid Exchange Online mailboxes in the same Microsoft 365 tenant. If the extensions are missing or disabled, BC only shows SMTP; once they’re installed/enabled in Extension Management, the other options will appear and you can configure a shared mailbox for scenarios like Sales Order Agent.
