 I am using FRX SP11 with AA Add-in installed. I did the AA Dimension wizard process to get the latest dimension details from GP Database. Once this is done i tried to Build the GL indexing in the same company in FRX for which the default accounting system is selected as Analytical Accounting. I am receiving the following error in the process. Once i click ok on error  again select default company window is popping up. Where as i am able to login to other companies with Dynamics GP as Accounting system.

The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship.  Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

(This error occurred while populating the frl_book_ctrl table in the GLX database)

    Hi,

    This type of error occur for frx designer,

    The article suggested - “Microsoft FRx Support will be able to assist in identifying what table contains the duplicate values that are causing the error but the GL vendor's support will need to be involved to resolve any database issues.”

    Before you moved to that,you thought of researching a bit about the FRx install. The Service Packs seemed to be in place, but it turned out the FRx AA Add-In was not installed. That’s a separate install when you use AA with FRx. I have seen a lot of people miss it especially when setting up new FRx installs.

    Hi Andrew,

    Frx AA Add-in is installed in my environment and i am able to run the wizard from AA add-in successfully. Is there any thing else to be checked to resolve this error.

    I'd also recommend you check the version of the FSAA80.dll file found in your FRx install folder. This should be the same as your FRx version (Help > About).

    If the file is updated, re-register this. Right-click the file and open with the RegSvr32.exe file from \System32.

    The error could also be a valid error related to duplication issues with the AA data. We'd need to get a support case to investigate if that were the case.

    Thank you all. I raised a support case with microsoft and found some duplicate data. After resolving this in the FRX folder need to run the FRXReg67.cmd. After all this my issue is fixed completely. :)

    I found this string of answers very informative.  Thank you.  However, I have trouble understanding why someone would have to re-register the .dll files (frxreg67) after data is fixed in AA.  Seems like a workstation installation is independent of the data in GP or AA for that matter.

    Hi Greg,

    FRx shares some of the same .dll files as Windows, so it's possible that permissions are updated, changed, lost, etc. The FRxReg67.exe and FRxReg67.cmd files should resolve those types of issues.
