Hi team, quick question. Can I stop team members to switch from one profile to another from My Settings, and is able to access only the assigned Profile by default defined in the user group in Business Central?

For example, I want to get access only to Business Manager and not able to select any other profiles like Project Manager, Account Manager, Team Member, etc.
If yes, how can I do it?

1. You can try by removing permissions to the user settings page

2. You can create a table/setup per user, profile combination and check while changing the user settings profile field .

3. You can also remove the dropdown from "My settings" through adjusting the profile and dis-enabling "personalization" on that profile.

Is there some criteria that we cannot control some permission of the Full User license of BC?

this could be easily achieved by going to the user card and view all permissions of that user. the disable the access to page 9212. after user log in BC next time, he won't be able to change profile. However, it needs to note that profile control what user sees but don't affect permissions. If you aim to change permissions, you could modify on table accesses.

I cannot edit the Page or even the table and Codeunit permission even though I am a super user.
