    Hi,

If you are preparing for the interviews then for 1st question I would suggest you to create a trial and try it yourself. You can refer below articel for reference-

    dynamics365blocks.wordpress.com/.../

For 2nd, fetch based report are based on the fetch xml where as sql based reportsare based on sql. You cannot create sql based reports on online environment.

There are several things to consider when yopu think aboput these 2. The documentation will give you the brief about both-

    docs.microsoft.com/.../get-started-writing-reports

There is a very old article which still holds true for comparison.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi partner,

1.If we set a field required on the form by JS and disable it by business rule, this field will be disabled on the form(read-only) and the interesting is that if the field contains no data, we still could save the form.

I did a test on my form and here's the result.

As we can see in the screenshot, I set the testfield required by JS and set it locked by business rule, and when I save the form without values in testField, the form still saved successfully.

2.About the difference between sql server and fetch xml, please refer to the following links.

    Hi,

    1) If you've implemented JS to set a field as required on form load and concurrently set up a business rule to disable the same field, the outcome will depend on the execution order of these processes. Typically, JS executes earlier in the form's lifecycle. If the field is made required first by JS and then disabled by the business rule, the field will end up being disabled but still required. It's crucial to consider the sequence of execution to ensure consistency in the desired field behavior, especially in the context of ms dynamics crm interview questions.

    2) Fetch XML and SQL-based reports in CRM differ mainly in their query languages and data sources. the choice between Fetch XML and SQL-based reports depends on factors like data complexity, security considerations, and the familiarity of the report developer with the query language. Fetch XML reports are often favored for their alignment with CRM structures and flexibility, while SQL-based reports provide more direct control over queries.

    Hopefully, this is useful.
