Hello,

I am doing a test import of just one asset into GP10 using Integration Manager.

I have created 2 source files (1x GENERAL & 1 x BOOK).

When I import the GENERAL the import wors fine. However, when I try and import the BOOK, I get the following message in IM: "DOC 1 ERROR: Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.eConnect: Code not found in table DYNAMICS..ta: Code. Please Insure that the table ta"

Any idea what this message is all about and how could I fix this?

Regards,

Jay

     Hi Jay

I guess just you install Latest IM SP for this.

and then check again your Mapping.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thanks for this. I have installed service pack 5 for IM but still I get the same error. However, if I chose to import the assets and then use GENERAL INFORMATION and in there is an option to import the BOOK RECORDS as well then that works without any errors.

The only thing I have picked up using this option is that when I select the asset in GP, and then go to view the BOOK information, the DEPRECIATED TO DATE, LTD DEPRECIATION, YTD DEPRECIATION & FILLY DEPREICATED FLAG do not import correctly.

Not sure why this is the case.

    Regards,

    Jay

Hi Jay, IM is not going to work with Fixed Assets Uploading. Me also spend alot of time to do this job using IM. finally end with MACROS the great option. You need to write Macro for data uploading for GENERAL and than for BOOK Screen. So far you need to upload those all values as well (LTD Dep., YTD Dep. etc) Hope this will work for you.

    Hello,

Thanks for the response. I have a colleague who has apparently tried using TABLE IMPORT and this seems to have worked.

I will try your option of the MACROS and see how it goes. Thanks.

    Jay

The Fixed Asset import utility should work for you - the file layout is in the manual.
