Error: "there is no vat statement line within the filter"

Hi, 

When I am creating a VAT return for a period selected, and I want to retrieve the lines via the function Suggest lines I do have an error message: 

There is no VAT Statement Line within the filter. Filters: Statement Template Name: BTW, Statement Name: STANDAARD, Box No.: <>'', Date Filter: 01-03-21..31-03-21

On the dialog opening on the moment I select Suggest lines I selected:
Included VAT entries  Open and closed
Include VAT entries Before and Within Period
My VAT Statement template and VAT Statement Name.


I cannot explain what is missing. There are VAT postings for the period.

    Hi Andy,

    I reported the issue at MS. It showed out that on the VAT Statements, there is a hidden column Box No. This column needs to be filled as well (I used same value as the Row No.) and after that I was able to Suggest the lines.

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for those suggestions on my issue. I tried both, but unfortunately none of the suggestions did help me having created the Suggest lines.

    I will report the issue via a support request and include these actions.

    If you go to the Report Settings page can you clear the settings for this report and see if this works when you rerun?  If that does not work can you set the Work Date to March and see if these pull in.

    If this does not resolve the issue, you may want to raise a support request to Microsoft support via your CSP / Partner.
