I went to Inventory – Transactions – Stock Count Entry

I entered the Counted Qty

Clicked Process

And I am getting this Stock Count Exception List:

The net lot variance and the variance on the stock count line do not match.

How can I fix this? What did I do wrong?

Your screen shot of the error items being entered doesn't reflect the items on the error report.

Can you show us the items in question on the report in the stock count screen?

What if you run CheckLinks on the inventory stock count?

Hmm... everything looks fine from the surface, try taking a backup and then run CheckLinks on stock count and historical stock count and see what you get. You can also run Reconcile by item #, I would probably try that first since you only have a few items that are throwing the variance error flag.

We are having a very similar issue with Inventory Stock count...where the allocated qtys do not match what the inventory inquiry window says.

I ran reconcile and check links to no avail

there is a disconnect between the manufacturing allocations and the Inventory stock count and appears to be a coding issue
