RMA post pack slip issue

Hello, looking for some help:

I have an RMA in "received" status yet the packing slip is not able to be posted? There is no pack slip journal so I know it has not been posted yet.

Any ideas?

Hi LastStraw,

Do you check the return order on SO list form?

Does this case only happen to one SO?

This requires the help of a technician to check the accuracy of the status.

Hi LastStraw,

Did you provide a disposition code to the return order line (on order or arrival journal) to specify what should happen with the items after physical receipt? You can read more about disposition codes here: docs.microsoft.com/.../set-up-disposition-codes

Hi LastStraw

If you set a Credit only disposition code on the Return order line, the line will become received, but will have no product receipt journal. This is normal! The Credit only disposition code is used to indicate that the customer will not return the item.... so F&O is not expecting you to post a packing slip.
