I'm trying to avoid duplicate "name" for Customer table is Business Central, is it possible to do it by set up?
only the "No." field is checked for duplicates as standard. If you happen to find duplicates though you can merge them to one record later: docs.microsoft.com/.../sales-how-merge-duplicate-records
In the contacts area there are more standard tools to duplicate searching - however they are retrospective not as you key in.
