Exporting data with configuration package

Hi,

I'm relatively new to this.

Is there a way to export Sales Order information (header and details) using Configuration package (tables 36 and 37) on the same spreadsheet?

Or is that by design that the data from both tables comes out on two separate sheets?

Perhaps there is already a report that allows to view order line items for multiple orders?

Thank you in advance.

I have the same question (0)

By design the Config Pack will build two different sheets.

There is not a good report for what you want.

I typically go to a single item card, drill on the Qty on Sales Order. Remove the item filter and now I have a list of all the sales lines. Then I can take that to Excel. I can take the Sales Order List date to Excel. Some Vlookups does anything and everything that I need....maybe it will work for you.

I'm hoping to automate this with BC 20 and Excel Layouts

Hi, If you want to export multiple table data with Configuration Package, you need to do a lot of processing outside the system to make it available.

For the Order line, hopefully the link below can give you some hints.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

On the item card there is the field "Qty. on Sales Order" (Specifies how many units of the item are allocated to sales orders, meaning listed on outstanding sales orders lines). If you dig via this field in the sales lines overview and change the filter to all items, you get an overview with information from header and lines in one row. This can be transferred to excel.

Alternatively, I can recommend you our App NCE Excel Builder for such evaluations from the AppSource. With that you can easily create such evaluations and can also work with formulas etc. and then have e.g. all lines in it etc.
