Hi all,

I need to add Power BI tile in existing view of "Sales Dashboard".

I followed this link : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics/crm-customer-center/add-or-edit-power-bi-visualizations-on-your-dashboard.aspx#addPBIdashboard

but could not able be create power BI tile in existing "Sales dashboard" view.

Can someone help me!

What happens when you try to add a Power BI tile ? Do you get an error and if so, what is the error ? Or is the Power BI Tile option missing from the toolbar ? If this missing, make sure you have at least CRM 2016 Update 1, and that you've gone through the setup steps described in https://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn708055.aspx

Thanks for the reply. I am using Dynamics 365 online version.

Power BI tile is missing when I am modifying existing view to add power BI.

What do you mean by when you say "modify existing view". The link you have shared lets you add a Power BI dashboard which should already exist.

Are you trying to add the Power BI dashboard to a CRM System Dashboard? THis is not possible, the PowerBI dashboards can only be added to a Personal CRM Dashboard, which you can then share with your users

Thanks for your reply.

The link which I shared is for the same requirement but when I am not able to add power BI tile in existing CRM View.

Lets say we have "Sales Activity Dashboard" view under Sales Dashboard section and we need to edit any section of this view and replace that with Power BI. So to achieve this I am facing issue.

No, I am not adding Power BI board to CRM System dashboard.

Hi Kavita,

Have you enabled PowerBI for embedding in your dashboards? You need to change the setting in "System Settings" to enable this.

Hello Kavita,

You can add power bi tile in existing view of "Sales Dashboard", please follow below steps.

(1). go to reports and click "publish to web". after that you will get one iFrame link.

(2). create one web resource and add this iFrame into it. and publish the solution.

(3). select dashboard in which you want to show this power bi dashboard and click "Web resource" button from ribbon. one popup will open now select that web resource and save and publish customization.

that's it.
