I am using win 7 with ie 8 and each time i open a record in crm i get the following error message :"A Microsoft Dynamics CRM window was unable to open, and may have been blocked by a pop-up blocker." I am using avant browser also for a workaround as even though i still get the error message i am able to open the record. I have trawled the web looking for the fix for this, but have yet to find one that works. Have tried the usual things of changing the security settings in IE, and enabling/disabling protective mode, but nothing has amde any difference..Can anyone help please.

    To what Internet zone have you added the CRM URL?

    Hi i'm having the same issue except im using IE 9 turned off all blockers and added the suggestions but nothing seems to stop this from happening

    Hi Liam;

    Do you have any 3rd party toolbars installed in your browser (like yahoo or msn or google toolbars)?  If so, remove them from control panel/programs.   They all come with their own popup blocker settings and even if you disable their popup blockers, they can still interfere.  Just uninstall all of them and see if that helps.

    Last resort, try resetting IE to default settings (Internet Options-->Advanced-->Reset button).
