CRM 2016 On Premise External Access shows: 405 - HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.

When we try to access CRM externally it shows the following error:

405 - HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.

The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) was used to attempt access.

This problem only occurs for external connection and our internal connection works just fine.

Not sure what the issue is. Also, we recently, changed the firewall but doesn't seems like a firewall issue.... not sure

Any ideas?

    Hi NileshPatel,

This issue could be caused by a problem with Active Directory Federation Services. Do you use ADFS?

    Hi,

You could take a look at the following article.

    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/e3fa7930-09a8-4b31-afb1-ed82f12eed4c/http-verb-used-to-access-this-page-is-not-allowed-adfs-20?forum=winserverDS

    Hope it makes sense.

    Thanks for this.

I am not sure what endpoints they are referring in this article. Is it WS-Federation Passive Endpoints in ADFS Relying Party Trusts?
