    This warning message comes up when the email content has scripting tags in them. When you receive formatted mails, there are chances that some of the styling was done through style and/or script tags. When it finds one of these in the email message, it tends to display the warning message.If you track a plain text email in CRM and open it in CRM, you would not find this message.This is just for information message and can be ignored with any impact on the functionality.

    Hi Aarush,

    I've received this error from CRM when I try to insert malformed html or CSS in the email. There may be syntactacly incorrect formatting in the email that Outlook ignores but CRM flags as an issue. Email yourself just a plain-text email, track that and you should be able to see the email in CRM with no issues. If that's the case, you know you're getting the expected behavior out of CRM, and the email you're getting is flawed.

    Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as a Verified answer.

    Thanks,

     Aiden

    Hi Aiden,

    I tried sending plain text email to myself and then tracking that email to CRM. but still the same result.  I am currently using outlook 2010 client for email. I am sure if this is due to the version issue.

    Thanks

    There's a javascript in the post below, which might help you resolve the problem:

    hi Marianne

    any luck resolving this ? I tried using jQuery in main.aspx but had no luck since its in a an iFrame. so i ended up doing this which is much simpler but still have some issues as i will explain after.

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\CRMWeb\_static\WallControl\ActivitiesWallContent.aspx or

    ActivitiesWallContent.css.aspx

    and add this css

    <style>

    .warningmessage .emailnotification {display: none;}

    </style>

    this zaps the warning message , I added the .emailnotification after to try and eliminate the ! yield sign can you try it see if it works for you ?

    not sure if i need to do a reboot to make it work or just an IIS bounce.

    as mentioned I still have the yield sign anyone know why after entering the style above its not getting zapped? do I need a reboot for the new style to take affect.

    using the CSS seems to have done the trick.

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\CRMWeb\_static\WallControl\ActivitiesWallContent.css.aspx

    Then at the bottom put this

    .emailnotification {display: none;}

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\CRMWeb\_static\form\formcontrols.js

    change all the occurences of

    $get('WarningWithOpen', this.$v_2).style.display = 'block';

    $get('WarningWithOpen', this.$v_2).style.display = 'none';//robm 12-08-2016 'block';

    will suppres a similar message in the "opened" email IE when you click on the envelope
