Management Reporter showing invalid Company Name

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 395

I recently converted FRx data to Management Reporter. When selecting a company to work with in Management Reporter I see the above set of options. Obviously, some of these lines are not useful Company Names. I checked the ControlCompany table and field ID is duplicated in field Code for the problem rows. Each problem row does not have a value in GLEntityConnectionInformation. I tried to delete a bad row from the ControlCompany table but received the following error:

No rows were deleted.

A problem occurred attempteing to delete row 21.
Error Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider.
Error Message: The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_ControlReport_ControlCompany". The conflict occurred in database "ManagementReporter", table "dbo.ControlReport", column 'CompanyID'.
The statement has been terminated.

How can I clean up my list of companies?

Thank you,

Brenda

You have reports referencing the invalid company(s). Check the ControlReport table and seach by companyId. When you find the report(s) either update the ID or delete ther report(s).
