Export of PDF Button

Posted on by 92

Hello,

I hope someone can help me with my problem.

The "Export to PDF" button is found in the Quote table in the sales Hub, I want to change its visibility based on a specific field.

I am aware that I am not able to add a javascript to the button since it is not showing on the edit command bar or on the ribbon workbench

Is there an alternative to change its visibility based on the field below?

If there is no possibility of adding a script on the button, can we add a plugin that will be triggered and throw an error message if the status is not approved or rejected?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

    RE: Export of PDF Button

If you want to export a report in PDF, data export is an out of the box service available on Microsoft Dynamics 365 that exports Dynamics 365 CRM docs.

You can also export a report in PDF format by using Microsoft-preferred 1-click app Click2Export, a productivity tool for Microsoft Dynamic 365 CRM. Click2Export will enable you to export word templates, excel templates, and CRM Views Data. With Click2Export, you can automate the process of sending CRM reports or document templates using a workflow.

With the use of Click2Export, you can

    - Attach the exported report as a note

    - Attach the exported report to a mail and send it to desired recipients

    - Upload the exported report to Sharepoint

    - Download the exported report

Looking forward to know more about this excellent tool? Explore this informative video or write to us at crm@inogic.com or download a free trial from our website or Microsoft AppSource.

    Hi MBaba,

Yes, you can't see view "Export to PDF" button on the edit command bar or on the ribbon workbench.

Maybe you need go into the XML itself and manually customize the Enable or Display rules applied against the button.

For more detailed information, you can refer to following links:
