Hi Sahil, there are a few ways you can perform an integration.
    1. Check to see if Edward Jones has a pre-built connector/application for Business Central.
    2. If Edward Jones provides monthly statements and you are just bringing in simple data such as a monthly statement you can look at using bank statement imports using standard out of the box functionality. You will need to setup the import definition in BC.
    3. If there isn't a prebuilt connector or you aren't importing statement level data you need to determine what data you are trying to syncrhonize and in which direction (BC to Edward Jones or Edward Jones to BC). Depending on the data you will most likely need to setup Web Services in BC to expose that data (see information here: Publish a Web Service - Business Central | Microsoft Learn) and then you will need to see what API information is available from Edward Jones. Then the most common tool to create an integration is Power Automate. It's highly recommended to work with a developer and microsoft partner to help build this integration. These can range from simple to highly complex integrations depending on the tables included and the volume of data being integrated.

Hopefully this can give you a start on the next steps.

    Hi
You need to identify the integration points of the software mentioned. Business Central exposes many APIs that allow interaction with it.

    Hello,

There is no standard BC integration for Edward Jones.
Edward Jones must provide an API or data feed, and then you need a custom-built connector (AL or Azure).
BC has no built-in way to connect to Edward Jones directly.

Because there is no standard connector, it can only be implemented through APIs.
Hope the following can give you some hints.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I completely agree with other experts. There is no standard way for this integration.

If the integration needs to be done from YOUR end, you may need to ask them for their API end points for accessing there data.

If the integration needs to be done from THEIR end, then you need to expose your Business Central data via APIs and send the API endpoints to them.

If the integration has to be done on standard pages only, you may not require any help from developer side as Standard Business Central provides some APIs that can be checked from the Web Services List page. In case of custom APIs you may need some technical help.

Although, you will have to do the App Registration in the Azure Portal for your business central tenant to get the credentials for accessing the APIs using OAuth.

Do mark as verified if this helps.
