New requirement for CSA Fees from 1st March

Now that the requirement for Dynamics-certified employees has been increased from 1 to 2 (from 1st March) for CRM Online, some partners will no longer be able to receive CSA fees at all. When will Microsoft stop paying CSA Fees to partners with only 1 Dynamics-certified specialist?

RE: New requirement for CSA Fees from 1st March

I was told by my TPAM that if we did not maintain our compliance we would not receive any CSA fees for sales beginning after 3/1. Meaning I would continue to receive fees after 3/1 for any business sold before 3/1.  However any fees collected by MS after 3/1 would not result in new CSA fees.  She also told me that as soon as I was compliant again, I would begin to receive fees from that day forward. We spent the last few weeks of February getting ourselves compliant. The most difficult part was updating the SureStep exam as we do not use Sure Step to manage our projects.

    Good Luck!

Brian. Thank you for the detailed clarification.

Sure Step was the same for me. As a small consultancy helping small customers, I never needed to use it, so more a memory exercise than understanding CRM, and very little practical benefit for the time spent learning it.

In all though, I have no argument re the exams, but the entry level has been raised to 2 certified consultants for CRM Online, so a one-man consultancy will no longer get CRM fees at all.

    Thanks again for your help.
