After creating BOM journal, add a journal line but not possible to select the item

Hi Experts,

We have one customer who is creating the BOM journal and also adding a journal line. Unfortunately, it not possible to add item on the journal line because that option is greyed out.
This was good to select Item in the BOM journal line in another company. This issue only happened on BOM journal, other inventory journals work well. I tried to debug the code, but seems no application code to disable data source field or the control for Item Id.

At first time after investigation for several days, I created a new journal name /IvyTest/ with BOM journal type and a new voucher series number sequence Id. And then create a new BOM journal with this journal name, the item number can be modified and selected one value. But after one month, customer reported the issue happened again. This time the previous solution didn't work anymore. I'm not sure if any cache impacts it. I'm guessing if it's platform code issue.

Any idea? Any suggestion to investigate the issue?
