Hi all,

is it possible to use debugger with the VS Code for the web? If yes, can I use also snapshot debugging?

Are you sure? I know official documentation, but I don't find any documentation about VS Code for the web and debugging AL solutions. I think to no, because if you open VS Code for the web and you try to download the AL Language extension, there is a message like "The 'AL Language' extension is not available in Visual Studio Code for the Web".

I ask if anyone try VS Code for the web.

Sorry i thought you asked if you can debug BC running web in Visual Code.

No, you have to run VS code on your computer in order to be able to debug.

VS Code on the web browser currently does not support the AL language extension. The actual ALC.EXE compiler requires client side components (relies on .NET).

Hi, if you said “http://vscode.dev” (start coding with Visual Studio Code entirely in your browser), the answer is No. We can't install AL language extension in the Web.
