Hi All,

While I tried migrating my COA data to Business Central, The account type changes from Heading to Posting for all the accounts.

I checked and removed everything which is in account category and subcategory and tried again to migrate the data, but still the account type comes as Posting.

Any Suggestions.

I have the same question (0)

    Thank you for responding back.

Yes, This is how my migration for COA looks like but the fields are different.

I checked few of the community answers and tried removing subcategory and category simultaneously as well as one by one but the issue is not resolved.

The account type shows as Posting only.

Attaching the screenshot of the excel as well as my BC account.Screenshot-2021_2D00_09_2D00_07-at-8.02.27-PM.png

    Hello,

I do Category and Subcategory on a second pass. I have never had this issue. May I suggest creating a new Configuration Package with the fields in question and trying again?

Also, after you Import the spreadsheet, look at the records and see what it imported into the temp table to see if Heading or other value is present.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

I tried your way as well but the table that is getting imported has "Posting" account type and not " Heading".

Any other suggestions that I can try and resolve this.

    Thank you.
