
I was assuming that it would be possible to use Azure Cognitive Services (or Form Recognizer) as the OCR engine in Business Central, but it seems that is not the case.
Has someone successfully integrated Cognitive Services into Business Central for OCR?
Alternatively, is there documentation available for the API that Business Central expects from the OCR service? (recieving Master Data and Documents, and providing the OCR data)
I could find a definition for incoming OCR documents in the data exchange definitions, but I believe this is a different thing than the built-in OCR functionality.

I have never tried this solution
but I could also recommend using AI Bulder, which through a dataverse and power automate can easily integrate with Business Central
